My name is Don Jones and I live in Corpus Christi, Texas and served until 2008 as superintendent of schools in Ricardo ISD located a few miles outside of Corpus Christi near Kingsville Texas and the famous King Ranch. In addition, While there I also taught on an adjunct basis in the Department of Educational Leadership at Texas A&M - Kingsville. After my retirement from public school I served as Director of Ed.D programs for Walden University for a few years. I stepped down as program director in 2010 and am now focused on teaching and working with students in their doctoral studies. I am also a full time faculty member at Texas A&M - Kingsville and a contributing faculty member with Walden University.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling, reading, watching sports and spending time with my family. I am an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, the lowly Houston Texans, the Houston Astros, Texas Rangers and the San Antonio Spurs. More importantly however, my wife Mary and I enjoy spending time with our two grown children and five grandchildren. My research and writing interests include servant leadership, educational philosophy and ethics, public relations and school board leadership training and facilitation.
