Iris M. Yob received her doctoral degree at Harvard University after working in teacher education in Australia. She joined Walden University in 1996 in the College of Education. She was Assoc Dean for the PhD program and later was a member or executive director of the Center for Social Change. Now as faculty member emerita, she is serving as consultant on social change innovations at Walden University. She has published in among others Journal of Aesthetic Education, Journal of Music Education, Philosophy of Music Education Review, Innovative Higher Education, and Higher Education Research Communications.
