Frederick Schulze, D.Ed., MCHES, has been an instructor at Walden University since 2005. He serves on doctoral committees (Ph.D. and Dr.PH) as both chairperson and member. In the past, he served as an instructor in the MPH program. He is a full-time professor at a state university in Pennsylvania teaching undergraduate community and public health education students. Dr. Schulze earned his masters and doctoral degrees in health education from The Pennsylvania State University. He is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist and former member of the Board of Commissioners at the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. Previously, he served as the Chairperson, Public Health Education and Health Promotion Section, American Public Health Association. Currently, he is President of the Society for Public Health Education - PA Chapter. In the community, he is Chair, Board of Directors, AIDS Resource, Inc., in Williamsport, PA. In 2018, he earned the Community Vanguard Award from AIDS Resource. In 2005, Dr. Schulze was a Fulbright Lecturer of public health at Lugansk State Medical University in eastern Ukraine.
