Felista A. Anugom has a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from Missouri State University. She currently holds two nursing certifications: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), and Family Health Nurse Practitioner ( FNP-BC). She attended fellowship training in primary care psychiatry at University of California Davis. Felista has many years of experience as an FNP and PMHNP treating clients with various medical and mental health disorders. She also has extensive experience teaching graduate and undergraduate students. Her research focus is on implementation of painful diabetic neuropathy symptom-relief care among adult patients. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, her research interest is also focused on reducing mental health stigma among ethnic minorities. She exemplifies the textbook definition of a “Grass to Grace Success” story. She has evolved from a rather humble social status, through hard work and perseverance, emerged an achiever in her field of professionalism. With her experience of serving thousands of clients as a Psychiatric clinician specializing in various mental illnesses, Felista is passionately committed to the welfare of diverse patient conditions.
