Dr. Erika Borlie is the Certification Outreach Manager for the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a subsidiary of the American Nurses Association. Dr. Borlie has been with ANCC since January 2011 and has been significantly contributing to a variety of successful programs and initiatives across the ANA Enterprise. Dr. Borlie leads the ANCC Certification Outreach team in sustaining enhanced partnerships with healthcare organizations, APRN Faculty, and clinicians in the promotion of continuing professional growth and development through certification.
Dr. Borlie’s extensive nursing experience which she started off as a nurse clinician since 1995, has been in the specialty field of women’s health. She is now actively practicing as a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner since 2001 in the state of Maryland. Dr. Borlie was conferred her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree in May 2017 with her research focus on “What Impact Has the Affordable Care Act had on Women’s Health?”
