Dr. Jane Alexander's formal training is in mental health studies and in counseling psychology. Dr. Alexander served as a Senior Research Fellow and worked on various research projects for the NHS, UK and whilst at Trinity College Dublin, for the HSE, Ireland. Dr. Alexander has published approximately 20 peer reviewed articles.
Dr. Alexander's lecturing experience spans many years in the UK and in Ireland with a focus on mental health and psycho dynamic psychotherapy.Currently, she is Director of Academic Studies at the Irish College of Humanities (ICHAS), Ireland, where in addition to academic leadership activities she also and lectures on the MS in Counseling and Psychotherapy.
At Walden University, which she joined in 2010, she teaches in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences. on the MS in Mental Health Counseling.
