Earla White's educational background includes a PhD in Health Services from Walden University, Master of Educational Leadership and Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Promotion from Northern Arizona University, Post-Graduate Certificate in Health Information Management from Alabama State University, and Certificate in Medical Transcription from GateWay College in Phoenix, AZ.
Dr. White is a contributing faculty member and mentor in the PhD Health Services and DHA programs in the School of Health Science, College of Health Sciences, At Walden University. She has taught and mentored students at undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and post doctoral levels. Credentialed as a registered health information administrator (RHIA), Dr. White has a diverse background in health services to include health information administration, informatics, documentation, and quality assurance. Dr. White's research interests are health services, social determinants of health, community oriented primary care, and continuing education and interdisciplinary development for the health professions.
