Dr. Donna Thomas' formal training is in educational leadership, teacher development, elementary education, curriculum, assessment, and instruction. Over her 20+ years in education, she has served in various roles including classroom teacher, Education Consultant, Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and, most currently, as Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for a school district in rural North Carolina. In addition to serving on numerous student dissertation committees, Dr. Thomas teaches education leadership and dissertation capstone courses.
