Donna Mahoney, Ph.D., is currently and Contributing faculty member at Walden University and Affiliate and Supervising faculty member at the Family Institute at Northwestern University. Her role at Walden entails teaching in the School of Counseling program. She also recently served as the Director of Clinical Training at Argosy University’s (Schaumburg, Illinois campus) Counseling program. Her clinical work spans 30-years, focusing on anxiety disorders. phobias, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. She taught for 16 years at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, teaching courses entitled Counseling Theory, Child and Adolescent Counseling, Couples and Family Counseling, Ethics for Counselors, Practicum seminars. She also chaired several dissertations in the Counselor Educator and Supervision program.
