Mrs. Denise Anderson's formal training is in Mental Health Counseling where she has served in various roles over her 12+ year career. Denise Anderson served as a recovery specialist for the Apalachee center, Inc. in Tallahassee Florida. She then moved back to south Florida where she served as a clinical assistant and then advanced to a clinical therapist. While providing mental health counseling services to adults and youth offenders in residential programs, she began teaching in her local school district as a career and social counselor secondary teacher. At Walden University, she is teaching Introduction to Mental Health Counseling within the Master program of the school of counseling.
