DeMonica Junious
Dr Junious joined Walden University in 2017 as a part-time Contributing Faculty in the Master of Science (MSN) in Nursing (MSN) Nurse Educator Program. With greater than 15 years of academic experience, Dr. Junious has nursing experience that includes a wide variety of areas, and include medical-surgical nursing, chronic and acute hemodialysis charge nursing, professional school nursing, hospital leadership and academic leadership. Dr Junious began her teaching career in an associate degree nursing program, teaching throughout the nursing curriculum. From there, Dr Junious went onto a challenging role as a hospital nursing director, while completing the PhD in Nursing Science Degree from Texas Woman’s University, Health Science Center Houston in 2008. Dr Junious received her Post Doctorate Certificate in Nursing Leadership and Administration from The University of Texas-Health Science Center- Houston Campus. Dr Junious has held the Certified Nurse Educator Credential since 2007.
