Deborah Nattress
Dr. Nattress has over 30 years of experience in the field of education, having taught various mathematics classes to secondary and college students as well as adult learners. Recently, she has been working with doctoral students, teaching graduate level classes and assisting students to successfully complete their dissertations or doctoral studies as a chair, a second committee member, or the URR.
Academically, Dr. Nattress earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of California Santa Barbara, a master’s in Education from California State University San Bernardino, and a PhD in Leadership in Educational Administration from Capella University. Her research interests include leadership, research methodology, and gender-issues in business and education.
With regard to social change, Dr. Nattress is involved with several organizations working to build the capacity and social presence of non-profits in the community. Areas of interest include working with transitional age youth, developing collaboratives between community and faith-based organizations, helping to identify funding sources, and assisting families in need.
