Dr. Daniel Zimmerman has been instructing students for the greater part of a decade in many disciplines such as strategic human resources, organizational behavior, and change management. Dr. Zimmerman is an academic and practitioner in the field of management and human resources as his current vocation, Director of Operations requires him to be a "jack of all trades". In addition to his teaching, he also is a managing partner for a consulting firm based in Texas that specializes in workforce development, talent management.

At Walden, Dr. Zimmerman works with students in the Ph.D. program in Management. His main role is to work with students as their dissertation chair as well as committee members. Dr. Zimmerman has served on many committees as well as served as Dissertation Chairs for multiple learning institutions.

Dr. Zimmerman is an avid researcher and peer reviewer for multiple national journals in the field of management and education.
