Dr. Crystal Neumann was born and raised in Chicago and currently resides in Indianapolis. She also spent time living in Dresden, Germany, where she taught Marketing and Communications at a community college in 2006. Her professional background spans marketing and market research across a variety of industries, including nonprofit associations and the food industry.

Dr. Neumann began her academic journey in nursing and initially worked in the healthcare field. Over time, her interests shifted to the business side of healthcare, which inspired her to pursue further education. She earned multiple bachelor’s degrees, followed by an MBA, and ultimately completed her Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in June 2011.

With a deep passion for learning, Dr. Neumann transitioned into higher education. Her goal is to contribute to the advancement of scholarship and help shape the future of education through her teaching. Dr. Neumann is a contributing faculty member at Walden teaching advanced-level courses, bringing scholarly expertise and real-world experience to support the academic and professional development of doctoral students.
