Craig Martin
Dr. Craig Martin’s formal training includes receipt of an MBA in 1972 and a Ph.D. in international business in 2006. Dr. Martin served in finance and marketing management positions before being named as publisher and president of a daily newspaper in 1979. Besides serving as publisher in 3 progressively larger newspapers, Dr. Martin was a group president for 5 newspapers in Arkansas. In 1997, Dr. Martin became part owner of a small business which he operated with his wife until 2008. After receiving his doctoral degree in 2006, Dr. Martin began teaching University courses in business and research and serving as a chair and subject matter expert committee member for numerous dissertations. Dr. Martin teaches in the DBA Program at Walden University, serving as associate faculty for finance and marketing courses. Dr. Martin serves as chair and subject matter expert for the DBA doctoral study courses.
Dr. Martin’s current research interests include global economics, international business strategy, global marketing and global finance, including currency valuations. He has presented at several conferences, including the American Academy of Business. He has published five peer-reviewed articles and is currently working on additional publications. Dr. Martin has designed the syllabi for four graduate business courses.
