Courtney L. Crooks is a research psychologist with Georgia Tech Research Institute, as well as part time Instructor for Walden University. Courtney received her Ph.D. in 2002, in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Georgia. Upon graduation, she was commissioned as a LT in the Navy, and began work as a Naval Aerospace Experimental Psychologist. She left active duty in AUG 2007, and was a Navy Reservist until 2016. Courtney also holds a Master of Aeronautical Science with a specialty in Aviation Human Factors from Embry Riddle, and completed a Postdoctoral Respecialization in Clinical Psychology in 2017. She is currently a Candidate at Emory University Psychoanalytic Institute.
