Dr. Clayton Alford (Ed.D.) Faculty Member
Dr. Clayton Alford holds a Doctorate (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Curriculum Instruction and serves in the role at Walden University as University Supervisor in the School of Education. Dr. Alford works with Walden University students who are completing their student teaching practicums in Special Education, Elementary Education, General Education and Principal Leadership in the New York City Metropolitan area. Dr. Alford has served as Mentor on many doctoral student dissertation committees.
Dr. Alford continues to pursue research in areas of Social Justice, Special Education, Educational Leadership and Curriculum Development. Dr Alford has published works on Special Education and Social Justice and is currently working on inequalities in educational testing practices. Dr. Alford is a member of the American Educational Research Association (AERA), Black Doctoral Network (BDN) and the American Psychological Association (APA).
