Cheryl Reyes
Dr. Cheryl Reyes completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology. Before and during graduate school, she was a misdemeanor probation officer in Cook County, Illinois, monitoring offenders charged with a variety of crimes. As part of her doctoral training, she worked in an inpatient forensic facility with defendants found Incompetent to Stand Trial and Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. She also completed doctoral work in high-minimum security prison.
Dr. Reyes has been teaching since 2004 and worked in private practice for 15 years before transitioning to a career as a Correctional Psychologist in a maximum security prison.
