Carolyn Dennis

A native of North Carolina, Dr. Dennis resides with her family on a barrier island on the coast. A PhD graduate of Capella University, Dr. Dennis conducted a qualitative study of adult female offenders in the NC Women's Prison.

Dr. Dennis is a graduate of New Mexico State University with a Master's in Criminal Justice. Her Master's Thesis was a Study of Lawyer's Job Satisfaction. She is a graduate of Meredith College with a BA in Sociology/Religion.

Dr. Dennis has been in academia for over 20 years and has been a Contributing Faculty Member in Criminal Justice with Walden University since 2016. Dr. Dennis is a former Adult Probation/Parole Officer with the State of North Carolina and has also served as a Child Support Enforcement Officer.
