Dr. Carla Lane is recognized as a leading authority on distance education and teleconferencing. She has been extensively involved in the distance learning field through her professional experiences, research, evaluations, instructional design, and publications. Her work has been published in many research reports and journals and she is the author of a textbook that is used by 64 universities. She has most recently been involved in projects for UCLA, PBS, U.S. Department of Justice, California State University Chancellor’s Office, NASA, and the California Community College System, the world’s largest educational system. She is listed in Who’s Who in Technology and was inducted into the USDLA Hall of Fame.
