Candace Best
Dr. Best is a clinical psychologist in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Best completed her B.A. in Psychology at Hampton University. She then obtained a M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Purdue University. Dr. Best also completed her pre-doctoral internship training at The University of Rochester, School of Medicine and Dentistry. Afterwards, Dr. Best pursued postdoctoral training in The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Adolescent Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. She has engaged undergraduates and graduate students since 2011. Dr. Best enjoys mentoring students and helping them achieve their goals.
