Ph.D. Forensic Psychology

Dr. Green is a New York State Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Use Counselor- Master Supervisor level (CASAC-M). She has held this credential since 2013 and completes the required CEUs every 3 years to maintain it. She earned her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice with a specialization in DWI recidivism rates in 2019. Her Masters is in Forensic Mental Health and her Bachelors degree is in Psychology. Dr. Green has worked with the substance use treatment population in inpatient, outpatient, drug court, long term residential facilities and federal parolee housing. She has published multiple textbooks on substance use counseling and evidence-based treatment practices as well as research articles in the substance use field.
Her passion is supporting adult learners in gaining the education and experience they need to become substance use professionals.
