Dr. Bethany Glueck is a Contributing Faculty with the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. She has been a LCMHCS (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor) for over twenty years in Raleigh, North Carolina where she has provided clinical counseling and assessment to adolescents, college students, and adults in private practice, hospitals, and college counseling. She is an approved supervisor in NC and has provided supervision for licensure.
She completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her masters of community counseling at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. She competed her doctoral work at NC State University and has published and presented in the area of integrated care: behavioral counselors working in primary care settings. She also has a research interested in international acculturation and supporting student’s mental health and wellness while on study abroad. While working as a staff counselor at NC State was awarded the Leadership in International Education for Distinguished Service to the University (2018). She has prior experience teaching crisis counseling.
