Barbara Higgins, WHNP, PhD is a nurse educator and clinician for over 35 years. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine, the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Maine and SUNY at Stony Brook. Dr. Higgins has been a WHNP for 20+ years, including owning and managing a Women’s Health clinical practice in Maine for six years in the past. She currently works as a per diem WHNP and has been a Contributing Faculty in the MSN program since 2016.
