Dr. Ashley Krebs is a Contributing Faculty member in the College of Health Sciences, School of Nursing at Walden University. She has been a nurse for twenty-four years and a nurse educator for fourteen years. She has experience teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level. She has extensive experience in teaching hybrid and online courses. She received her BSN from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1995, MSN Nursing Education from William Carey University in 2007, and PhD in Nursing Education and Administration from William Carey University in 2014. Her research interests are related to the use of high-fidelity simulation to improve nursing student outcomes and the use of technology to enhance student learning. She has presented her dissertation work related to high-fidelity simulation in the form of poster presentations at both local and national conferences.
