Dr. Ariana Balayan is an Adjunct Faculty member in the doctoral education programs at Walden University. She holds an EdD in Higher Education Leadership from Nova Southeastern University with a dissertation on graduate enrollment management (GEM) practitioners' participation in professional development. She has worked in GEM for over 18 years, in progressive roles now managing a team of 9 as Assistant Dean of Enrollment and Marketing at Tufts School of Medicine Graduate Programs in Boston, MA. She is a thought leader in GEM, especially strategic enrollment planning and model development, with publications in major peer reviewed journals, books, and many national presentations.

Ariana is a member of AACRAO, the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, sits on the Editorial Board for AACRAO's peer reviewed Strategic Enrollment Management Quarterly journal. She is also NAGAP, the Association for Graduate Enrollment Management, former Professional Development and Research Committee member, and past President of NEGAP, the New England Chapter.
