Dr. Morgan began her career as a high school English teacher after completing her bachelor's degree at the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire. She earned a master's degree at the University of Minnesota in their College of Work, Community, and Family Education and a doctorate from Capella University in Advanced Studies of Human Behavior.
Her work in higher education began in 1997, and she has appreciated teaching or administrative roles in the public community college system and in the private sector. Dr. Morgan enjoys working with students in the face-to-face classroom but has also taught in a distance learning setting since 2005. She is an early adopter of tech and proponent of finding creative ways to connect with students and allow students to connect with each other.
