Dr. Angela Brown, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, ANP-BC, CDE, is contributing faculty for the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program. She has been working in the nursing profession for 30 years and has been a nurse practitioner for 22 years. She has also completed an Integrative Nursing Faculty Fellowship at the University of Arizona. She currently works for a behavioral health organization (addictions, MAT). She has taught in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs for 24 years. She was recently named a Tucson Nurses Week Foundation Fabulous 50 RN in 2019. She has served on boards (American Association of Diabetes Educators and Southern Arizona Nurse Practitioner Council). She has also been a member of the Arizona pain/ addiction curriculum task force.
