Dr. Amy Gaskins received her EdD from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Curriculum and Instruction as a specialist in Mathematics, MSED from East Central University, Ada, OK in Secondary Mathematics and History, and BSED from Texas Tech University in Lubbock TX in Mathematics Education and History. After 13 years teaching mathematics in secondary schools in Oklahoma and 6 years teaching mathematics in the secondary schools in Las Vegas, Nevada, she moved to Maryville, MO to become mathematics faculty at Northwest Missouri State University. Additionally, she served as the director of alternative certification at West Texas A & M University in Canyon, TX for 2 years. More recently she has worked as a math specialist at Region XIII in Austin, TX for 4.5 years and for the MSP Grant at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, TX for 4 years. She now travels across the nation as a mathematics consultant.
