Dr. Berwick completed her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2013. She has been teaching since 2012 at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Georgia State University, and Walden University. Dr. Berwick has also worked as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor since 2009, starting her first private practice in 2011.
