Amanda has been teaching and working in the field of health care management and policy since 2003. She obtained an MPA in Health Care Management and Policy in 2003 from the University of Delaware and a PhD in Health Care Management from the University of Saint Louis. She completed a Presidential Management Fellowship at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center in 2003. Amanda researches and publishes/lectures in the areas of health care management, quality management and patient safety. She was full time faculty at the Washington University School of Medicine from 2005-2008 and joined Walden University in 2009.
