Abby obtained her bachelor’s in pre-art therapy from Arcadia University. She received her master’s in Mental Health Counseling, and her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision, both through Walden University. Additionally, she has worked as college counselor and taught adjunct at several of the colleges and universities in the Philadelphia area. Abby conducted her doctoral research exploring the lived experiences of counselor educators with a mindfulness practice in the classroom with culturally diverse students.
Abby is the past President-elect for the Greater Philadelphia Pennsylvania Counseling Association. She is also the current chair of ACES emerging leaders committee. She just completed a study exploring the use of virtual reality as a teaching tool for learning mindfulness.
