The Office of Admissions also provides additional support specifically for prospective and current international students, active duty military and veterans, pregnant or parenting students, and students who need wellness and disability services.

Support Services for Current Students

The Customer Care Team is your first resource for technical assistance, financial services questions, classroom support, or advising assistance. Walden’s Customer Care Team is available every day, 24 hours a day, through online chat or by phone from anywhere in the U.S. or internationally. Ask Customer Care a question, and the team will provide an answer quickly.

At Walden, Student Success Advisors are dedicated to your educational journey. From the moment you join Walden, these advisors can help you smoothly transition into the university environment, ensuring that you, as a new or continuing student, are engaged and thrive. Student Success Advisors work closely with academic leadership, student support teams, and administrative groups to guide you toward successfully completing your program. Your advisor can offer developmental advising to assist with academic planning, clarify academic and university policies, and monitor your degree progress. They also collaborate with faculty members to support your progress and help resolve any academic challenges you may face, ensuring a seamless and supportive educational experience.

The Walden Library is an expansive online resource for students. Tens of thousands of research journals, more than 100 academic research databases, hundreds of thousands of ebooks, and more are available to support your education. Librarians are even available to assist you with questions about the library and research. An Alumni Library is available for alumni, too.

The Office of Academic Support and Instructional Services (OASIS) supports your academic and professional journey at Walden, especially in mastering library research, academic and professional writing, critical thinking, and other key academic skills. You’ll have access to a wide range of academic skills support through instructional videos and webinars, individual and group tutoring, peer mentoring, self-paced tutorials, and a centralized help desk. Additionally, OASIS offers support courses and workshops, live doctoral residency sessions, and the Walden Orientation and Welcome experience for all new students.
