Growing up in poverty, Jack knew that education was key. After earning his PhD from Walden, he used his knowledge to do more than build a career for himself—he used it to help others reach their potential, too.
The purpose of this event is to provide prospective students the opportunity to interact with faculty, alumni, and enrollment specialists to learn more about the benefits of being a Walden student.
The event will include a video of Walden's 50th Commencement celebration and a discussion with faculty, alumni and enrollment. This is an opportunity to learn more about the student experience, the benefits of being a Walden student, what the enrollment process entails, and what options are available for starting classes.

Research shows that a person’s mental state prior to experiencing a seismic traumatic event could affect how the event is experienced. For anyone who has yet to experience a major trauma in their life, learning how to mitigate the psychological damage and move forward with positive growth may serve to inoculate against the most severe outcomes of trauma.
Faculties from the Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership and the College of Management and Technology have an open discussion about the impact of the current times, extra responsibilities due to it, and how to manage and excel wearing multiple hats. After the open discussion, we transition into CMT certificates, their benefits, and how it ties back to teaching.
