In today’s diverse classrooms, educators need to understand the complex influences of culture, language, and life experiences and appreciate the learning opportunities these offer.
The Graduate Certificate in Engaging Culturally Diverse Learners (Non-Licensure) provides opportunities to explore theories, research, and effective practices related to student diversity. Apply models such as Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and differentiated instruction as you build research-based strategies that integrate technology and as you tailor your instruction to create diverse, effective learning environments.
After the first course, you can continue taking one course at a time, earn your degree faster by taking two courses one time, or choose a combination of the two throughout the program to fit your changing needs.
