General Psychology Concentration FAQ
Walden’s general psychology concentration is a way to expand and diversify your study of psychology, if you are pursuing a degree in psychology, or to incorporate the study of psychology into another degree program. General psychology as a field is quite broad and includes the ways in which people develop, relate to one another, form identities, communicate, and understand the world around them.
A concentration in general psychology is a great way to learn more about psychology no matter your degree program or career field, but particularly if you work in an environment in which understanding human behavior is important.
Simply register for and complete three courses from the list of general psychology electives. The concentration will be added to your transcript once you have successfully completed your chosen three courses.
