What is a finance concentration?

Walden’s concentration in finance allows you to develop foundational skills in financial management by choosing three courses from a list of options, including options for industry-recognized micro-credentials and continuing education units (CEUs).

What can I do with a concentration in finance?

A concentration in finance is a great way to get a sense of what finance professionals do. The skills you learn can help you understand the work of finance professionals with whom you may interact and apply basic financial skills in your own work.

How long does it take to earn a concentration in finance?

It takes only one and a half terms (three courses) to earn a concentration in finance. Simply register for and complete three courses from the list of finance electives. The concentration will be added to your transcript once you have successfully completed your chosen three courses.
