Upon successful completion of the course, students have the opportunity to earn a workplace certificate in small business management.

Students also examine the design of repeatable and sustainable processes that leverage existing business practices and support entrepreneurial initiatives.

In this course, students examine what it takes not only to start a new business venture but also how to use their knowledge of business functions to grow their initial idea into a successful enterprise over time. Through their assignments, students assume the role of an entrepreneur and build a plan for a real-world business concept. They have the opportunity to earn a workplace certificate in entrepreneurship upon successful completion of the course.
