For many universities, the future of in-person classes is uncertain. At Walden, we’re committed to doing everything we can to help the extended Walden community pursue higher education and achieve their dreams.
Walden is now offering four general education courses at a 70% discount for college-bound children of Walden faculty, staff, alumni, and select business development partners. This is a great opportunity for college freshmen or sophomores to gain experience learning online from a university that has pioneered distance learning.
During the fall 2020 and spring 2021 semesters, students who have completed high school or equivalent in 2019 or 2020 can take four general education courses at Walden, which may be transferrable to another university or applied toward a Walden program.
This exclusive program offering is available to 2019 and 2020 high school graduates who are children of Walden faculty, staff, alumni, and select business development partners. This special program includes four general education courses from Walden’s Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies program.
Students who complete the four courses will earn a professional certificate, “Foundations for Leading Inclusive Social Change,” and can choose to continue earning a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies degree from Walden.
Walden University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission. Most universities consider credits from a regionally accredited university for transfer of credit. Prospective students should check to determine whether Walden credits may fulfill specific general education or other program requirements at other universities.
