Walden’s Military Leave of Absence Policy
Walden’s Military Leave of Absence Policy is intended to protect and support our military students when a deployment, military operation, or national emergency arises. If you are unable to participate in classes or be successful in an academic program due to a military obligation, you may discuss several options with your faculty member(s) and/or academic advisor. One option is a Military Leave of Absence (MLOA).
If you decide to request a MLOA, you must submit a request via your student portal. For more details, visit our military services website.
Whether you are serving in the National Guard, the reserves, or on active duty, you can receive an education from an accredited university that understands your unique circumstances and funding options.
