Dr. Clark has taught nursing theory, nursing ethics, advanced nursing roles, community health, health assessment, and a variety of other graduate and undergraduate nursing courses at several different universities. She has worked with the Nurse Manifest Project, performing grass-roots research about the state of nursing practice today. She has published articles in Advances for Nursing Science, International Journal for Human Caring, World Futures, and the International Journal of Nursing Education Scholarship. Dr. Clark maintains her nursing license in California and Maine, and she has expertise in the areas of the nursing shortage, nursing education, community health, and end-of-life care. Dr. Clark is currently developing a holistic-caring curriculum in her tenure track position at the University of Maine–Augusta.
