Propensity score methodology and inverse probability weighting, community health promotion and education, curriculum development, mixed-methods research techniques


Dr. Margaritis has been at Walden University since April 2012, serving as a part-time faculty member in the School of Health Sciences. He has also been an associate lecturer and researcher in the School of Dentistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens since 2006. As a teacher of epidemiology, biostatistics, and community and preventive dentistry, he also has published work in a number of relevant international and national publications, including BMC Public Health, the Journal of Dentistry, and the Journal of Disability and Oral Health. Dr. Margaritis has worked on research projects in various community-based research settings. His research includes oral epidemiology and working with intellectually disabled persons, and he has served as a methodology and/or statistics expert on many of those projects.
