Background

Dr. Brawley is a qualitative researcher, clinical psychotherapist, and counselor educator. She serves as a military family life counselor for the U.S. Department of Defense. She has a long history of teaching psychology and mental health courses in colleges and universities, frequently serving on thesis and dissertation committees. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, American Counselors Association, Mississippi Psychological Association, and Mississippi Counseling Association. She is a licensed professional counselor who has presented research papers in Canada, Finland, Italy, Japan, and Russia, as well as across the United States.
