Throughout her 25 years in higher education administration, Dr. Garfield’s research and practice has focused on combining art and science in the design and implementation of effective curricula for special populations of learners, including educationally disadvantaged students and adults. She believes the process of becoming a scholar-practitioner and servant-leader is both systematic and imaginative.
