Dr. Coleman is president and CEO of The Coleman Group and The Anger Doctor, management consulting firms specializing in anger management, mediation, human capital, training, and research. A former tenured professor at Purdue University, she has experience in mental health, criminal justice, food and beverage service, and transportation, and she has worked for The State University of New York, Educational Testing Service, the Las Vegas Municipal Court, and American Airlines. Refereed publications include a book, chapters, journal articles, and curriculum guides. Dr. Coleman conducts substance abuse evaluations for the U.S. Department of Transportation and is a certified federal mediator for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. She is also a founding member and board member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators, and a board member and secretary of the Professional Mediation Board of Standards. Dr. Coleman has been a contributing faculty member at Walden since 2007.
