Psychology - General Concentration

In this concentration, you will gain a solid foundation and knowledge of psychological principles and practices that relate to many different occupations. The curriculum will help you build on your ability to relate to all types of people as you increase your understanding of life in a complex world.

The curriculum offers three options for earning your BS in Psychology degree:

  • The General Concentration (outlined below)

and two programs designed for those who wish to pursue their MS in Psychology or MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC):

  • 181 total quarter credits

Elective Courses - 65 cr.

Choose 13 courses from general education, BS in Psychology, or other Walden bachelor’s degree programs. At least four credits must be at the 3000–4000 level.

Students may be eligible to transfer up to 135 credits. At least 45 credits must be completed at Walden.
