Dr. Veda Stalling is a Social Work Postdoctoral Fellowship faculty at Walden University. She graduated from Walden University with a doctorate in Public Policy and Administration with a Health Policy concentration. Her graduate and undergraduate degrees are in social work. She is a licensed clinical social worker in California applying social change in her work with veterans and their caregivers. She has over 10 years of experience as a social worker working with children, adults, and geriatric populations with experience in child welfare and in medical settings providing therapy, case management, and counseling. Dr. Stalling’s interests are medical social work, specifically integrated behavioral health in primary care settings. She is currently working on a journal article researching competencies of social workers in Patient-Centered Medical Homes.
