Dr. Tronda Douglas earned a PhD from Walden University in Human Services, specializing in Disaster, Crisis, and Intervention. She also holds a MA in Human Services Counseling from Regent University and a BS in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College. As a military veteran, she has served her country for over 20 years. Her primary areas of research are in disaster resiliency for rural populations and trauma and grief studies. Dr. Douglas serves as a mentor to young women in her community and is actively involved in disaster relief and human social services.
