Dr. Tronda Douglas earned a PhD from Walden University in Human Services, specializing in Disaster, Crisis, and Intervention. She also holds a MA in Human Services Counseling from Regent University and a BS in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College. As a military veteran, she has served her country for over 20 years. Her primary areas of research are in disaster resiliency for rural populations, trauma, and grief studies, and early childhood education. Dr. Douglas currently serves as a mentor to young women and early childhood educators in her community. She is also actively involved in local disaster relief and non-profit organizations.
