Dr Tracy Scott serves as the Nursing Informatics Coordinator. Her professional background includes over 25 years of experience in clinical, informatics, and teaching in the classroom and online. She served as an active duty member of the US Army for 7 years, part of which included 3 years in a multinational NATO environment. She is board certified by the ANCC in Nursing Informatics and as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She holds a doctorate in nursing practice with a focus in vulnerable populations and received the Spirit of St. Francis Award in 2011 for her clinical work with the Indian Health Service. She has served as a presenter, published articles in peer reviewed journals, and co-authored a textbook. Her research interests are in educational technology and she holds an educational specialist degree with a focus in educational technology.
