Dr. Masiello is a developmental psychologist, licensed professional counselor, and mediator. She also serves as a parenting coordinator working through the North Carolina courts with parents experiencing high conflict divorce and custody cases. Her past clinical experience includes working with parents and children in clinics, schools, homeless shelters, and residential treatment facilities. She currently owns a private practice in which she works as a therapist for children, teens, adults, and families, as well as works as a mediator for the Superior and District courts of North Carolina. Dr. Masiello has taught both undergraduate and graduate psychology courses online and in traditional on-ground campus settings. As the recipient of several federal research grants, the findings from her research studies have been published in professional journals, books, and reviews.
